Concept Editor: iatoshaunted

Jay, aka iatoshaunted, is our newest member on the Team. Probably our youngest editor by far. With that being said, Jay was very polite and awesome about approaching me with his concept of the Concept Corner. While I prefer having "adults" work on the site because of writing, layout, format, responsibility, I feel like that guy that should give people like Jay, a shot. You gotta start somewhere, right?

Welcome Jay with open hands as the Concept Corner is his baby. The articles can only get better every time.

Again, congrads Jay for becoming an editor.

Pokemon Concept Corner: Leveling the Gen 5 Conflict, Part 1

Not so different, when you think about it.Welcome, dear readers, to the first in a brand-new series of articles. Here, we’ll be looking at concepts for Pokemon, asking questions about their designs, and learning about some of the surprising ideas behind some Pokemon. I’m IatosHaunted, and this is Concept Corner.

Now, since Black and White came out in Japan, there’s been a lot of controversy and adversity towards a few of the new Pokemon. No, that’s not what this first article will be discussing. And this is not because I love all the new Pokemon(I just can’t get behind that stupid trash bag thing), but I want to save that for when Black and White come out in other areas of the world, so we all get to see more of the new creatures. Despite that, today’s article does involve bizarre, obscure, and bluntly stupid Pokemon designs. But the Pokemon we’ll be looking at are from the first three generations of Pokemon, because really, strange concepts in Pokemon are nothing new. There are just more of them this time around.

Miltank is a Normal-type Pokémon.
It is not known to evolve into or from any other Pokémon.

Miltank is a mostly pink colored bipedal cow with blue eyes, small horns and a long, cream-colored tail with a black ball in the end. She has a cream colored belly with four udders. There are black spots on her back as well as a black "hood."

Miltank has the highest base Defense of all non-legendary Normal-type Pokémon at 105.

Saturday Sketch

This week's sketch is a piece done by the artist Syaming-Li! "PKMN. I chuus YOU" is one of my favourite Pikachu family evolution pictures thanks to the light-hearted fun and the bright and vibrant colours.

Which is your favourite out of this evolution set?

I was sent a website full of some fantastic pokemon work a few weeks ago, thanks Sprucey! Here's one of the images she attached...

Pokémon Starter Names

Well we finally have it, and if you love Pokémon, you probably already know the names of the three starters for Generation 5.

From left to right, names are Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott

Honestly, I don't mine the grass and fire starters name, but the water starter's name is very Japanese compared to the other two. Oh well. More importantly, what do you think?

Saturday Sketch

Seeing as the new Harry Potter movie debuted this week I thought it only natural that this should be the Saturday Sketch!

Rival Snape by Vestergarrd has to be one of my favourite Pokemon crossovers out of the many that i've seen. I also love the description for this image too:

"He could only afford one pokemon - an Oddish who later evolves into a Gloom.
:iconseewhatididthere:
The question is whether Snape will evolve her into...

Exclusive Ringtones: Pikachu Take Notes

Pikachu Take Notes

This ringtone is pretty sweet because I have no musical talent, and I think it came out alright. It's based off a YouTube video that I have talked about on the show before, but I am not going to link it. Sorry. It's not kid friendly.

Now, these ringtones are made in m4r format. What does that mean? Well m4r is how any iPhone can play them flawlessly as a ringtone. So just click the Apple button below to start your download and then sync it to your phone. What if you don't have an iPhone? Well we got a lot of requests for an mp3 version of the ringtone. This doesn't make it easy for iPhone users, but hey, if you want an mp3, we got that too. So click on the Android symbol for the mp3 version. If you have a Blackberry, still click on the Droid symbol.

Hope this helps, and more importantly, hope you enjoy the ringtone.

Remember, this is the ONLY place to find sweet Pokémon Ringtones.

More Voting, no Rare Article

Sorry guys... I spent most of the day sleeping off this sickness I had, when I finally woke up... then I did Episode 019 for ya'll. Which, I hope you guys really like. In terms, I didn't get to do a Rare Article or a Featured Team this week. I'm not to sure what happened to Aaron's post either... I know he's busy with school, but we'll figure it out. Personally, I still think there is a lot of new content on the site, so it's okay if we take this a bit slower... at least until I'm not sick. Oh, and I did give you guys a new sneak peek at the first Season of Critical Hit. That was awesome... right?

More importantly. I really REALLY NEED YOUR HELP! There are the Podcast Awards that end on November 21st, and not to be selfish, but I want to win! They have a whole bunch of categories, but you should vote for "It's Super Effective" in these: People's Choice, Gaming, and Best Produced.

Please vote and make your friends vote. If "It's Super Effective" wins in one category, I would be thrilled. Remember, you can only vote on that page once, but please do... for us!
