You know what one of my favorite moves is? Well, yeah, Thunderbolt. But I’m not talking abou- okay, yeah, Ice Beam is pretty sweet t- yes, we all love Toxic, I kno- who just said Sand Attack? Really? Shut up. I’m talking about Leech Seed. 90% accuracy and you get to steal 1/16th of your opponent’s HP each turn. And if you have a Big Root attached, you steal even more HP! Now, I bet your asking, “Wil, why are you writing Aaron’s column?” I like to build you up, buttercup. Leech Seed and all the other HP-draining moves are great, but what if your opponent has an ace up their sleeve that would cause it to backfire? We have just that today. This is Ability of the Week: Liquid Ooze!

So about how I mentioned that the last Item of the Week ever is coming up. Walp, here it is. The final IOTW. I'm going to shoot through a number of Items in this Itemstravaganza. 3, 2, 1: Let's get item-ey. (There unfortunately is no better way to turn the word "item" into an adjective, at least to my knowledge.)
First off, I want to thank everyone who bought the Japan Shirts the last month. Your purchased helped Japan recover from their earthquakes and other disasters. So again, thanks!

Battling against nearly 25 or 30 people this last weekend for gym leader tryouts made me see a lot of what people are doing now-a-days to try and get an edge up in flat battles. I saw Stealth Rock combinations, the use of Toxic, burning moves, Trick Room, but one that really caught my eye, and worked particularly well against me with my heavy hitting team was Foul Play. It’s not to difficult of a move to understand, but lets go over it, shall we? My MAILBAG is very hectic right now. With that being said, I want the next episode of "It's Super Effective" to be all user submitted questions. Please post a question below that you want answered on the show! Let us know so we can make a great episode for you!
Man-made Pokemon are much more prominent than we realize. There's Golett and Golurk, created by an ancient civilization to protect their city, Grimer and Trubbish, spawned from pollution and chemical alterations, and, of course, Mewtwo, a genetically modified clone of the legendary Pokemon Mew. And that's our topic this week on Concept Corner, so jump in!It's Super Effective is a weekly Pokémon podcast that you can find on Apple Podcasts, Google Play, Simplecast, and Spotify.
