PokéDex 3DS
/
Download the FREE Pokédex™ 3D application available exclusively through Nintendo eShop on the Nintendo 3DS system, and start collecting data on over 150 Pokémon™ from the Pokémon Blackand Pokémon White Version games! This exciting new application lets you see each Pokémon in 3D with animated motion and sound, and you can rotate the Pokémon image 360 degrees to zoom in and view it from any angle. The detailed Pokédex also allows you to search, sort, and filter all of the data you receive in a variety of ways, making it the essential guide for Pokémon fans!
Complete your Pokédex by receiving Pokémon data from friends, using the SpotPass™ feature (wireless broadband Internet access required), or by scanning special Augmented Reality (AR) Markers. Once you have collected data for a Pokémon, the AR Viewer allows you to view that Pokémon image in a real-world setting in real time, and create photos to share with friends!
Music Time: HGSS Safari Zone
/Since we haven't had a post since yesterday, I want to share with you guys my favorite music that I've ever heard in a Pokemon game. It's really upbeat and catchy, and I hope you'll enjoy it.
PotW: Ferrothorn
/
He's big, he's bad, and he makes a great Gyro-Baller. He's topped the usage charts at Smogon, and will no-doubt be a huge contender at this year's VGCs National and World Championships. He is Ferrothorn, and he's taken the Pokemon World by storm.
Sunday Sketch
/
Hey guys, IatosHaunted here. A couple people in Poketalk were asking about the lack of Saturday Sketch(which is how I realized there wasn't one yet), so I decided to throw something out here. Steve's really busy with other site stuff, along with life and work, so don't freak out at him.
Anyway, this beauty is by ShoelessCosmonaut, one of my newer favorite Pokemon artists. And if you couldn't figure it out, the middle Pokemon is a Hitmonchan. Awesome interpertation!
AOTW: Cloud Nine and Air Lock
/
Weather effects on the field are some of my favorite additions to the basic formula of monster wrangling and battling laid down in the classic Pokemon Red and Blue Versions. Each one has its own unique properties, and in some cases, can be the crux of a team’s strategy. But hey, to each his own, and maybe you’re not like me and hate weather effects! Who am I to tell you you’re wrong, even though you are? There are a few pokémon in the game who can totally negate a weather effect without spending a single PP, such is the nature of the mighty passive Ability. May as well put away the raincoats- this is Ability of the Week: Cloud Nine AND Air Lock!
