Lots and lots of news this week. The week started off very slow, but I think Episode 016 was a great way to end the week, and/or start your weekend!

Our biggest news was the Midwest Gaming Classic. We will have a booth there and we are super excited about it. Hopefully you guys can come out and visit us!!! Otherwise, enjoy the stuff you may have missed.

Midwest Gaming Classic

Pokemon Podcast will be Attending the Midwest Gaming Classic! Whooo!

This year the Midwest Gaming Classic will take place in Brookfield, WI. We will have a booth set up to meet and greet all you guys... AND we are going to host a Pokémon Tournament, if not two tournaments. The expo is 2 days long and takes place at the end of March of 2011. 

Pretty exciting, right? We will also have T-Shirts and some other cool stuff. We really really really really really hope you all in the Midwest area can make it out to the show. More details below and plenty to come with the following months.

Aw snap! It’s been a hot minute since Nintendo gave away a Mew, but HeartGold/SoulSilver owners will be able to score the first ever secret legendary Pokemon starting in just two days!

The Mew being given away is just a level 5 and only knows the move BOUNCE, so it’s perfect for EV training into a pink, mean fighting machine. It also comes in a Cherish Ball and has a Premier Ribbon so peeps’ll know it’s legit and not some silly Action Replay whackness.

Vacation

Hey Guys,

It's Steve... aka.. sbj. I am on vacation this week until Friday, so there will be no Featured Team or Rare article this week. Don't worry though, they will all come back next week. We still did a PKMN of the week, along with a Breeding 101 recap. Aaron will have the Weekly Move up on Wednesday. Episode 016 will probably go live on Friday too, so you won't have to worry about that.

PKMN of the Week: Duskull

Duskull, the ghost Pokémon
It evolves into Dusclops starting at level 37, who evolves into Dusknoir when traded holding a Reaper Cloth.

It's seems to be overlooked by other Ghost Pokémon... cough **Gengar** cough.

Duskull is styled after a traditional personification of Death, the Grim Reaper. It resembles a small hooded masked form in a black robe with a crossbones drawing on its back. In its "shiny" alternate coloring, its robe is curiously bright red, possibly inspired by the Devil. Its mask resembles the front of a skull. It also seems to have a single eye that floats between the eye sockets in its mask.

Fun Fact: Duskull is the only Pokémon with Levitate whose evolutions do not have the ability.
