In honor of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 coming out in fourteen more days and how yesterday was the fourteenth anniversary of the Philosopher's Stone, we are combining our past with Harry Potter. The similarities between the two are mind blowing, plus the video was really nicely put together by huffley6. Pokefact coming at ya on Tuesday, so get ready.

Grey Chat

You can now officially sign up to battle trainers against Grey League. Due to funds, badges are going to be delayed to late August, but that doesn't mean you still won't get them. 

On top of all that, we now have a live chat going on too! I think this is a very exciting thing to happen after the last month of slow-June.

Stay tuned because tier 1 of Grey League will start this month!

Guess Who's Back?

What's up guys! Guess who's back, yea that's right me. I've been on vacation and doing all sorts of stuff in the past couple of weeks, but my life is Pokemon non-stop from here on out. I'm going to the Pokemon VGC's with SBJ in just over a week here and this is the team I'm going to try and make it with. Not 100% set on the move set yet but I'm pretty happy with it. I'm going to try and make them work the best I can. I like the Pokemon actually and I think it'll be a fun team to use.

Concept Corner: Yokai (Or "Oh Jesus I'll never look at Golduck the same way again")

Yokai. Oooooohhhhhhhh boy...With that out of the way, let's begin. Yokai are a class of supernatural beings in Japanese mythology, ranging across a huge number of creatures from the commonly-known Ogre to lesser-known ones such as the Yuki-Onna, which those of you who read my mythology article from a while ago may remember as the basis for Froslass. Yokai are powerful creatures, usually bearing great supernatural abilities. Yokai often posess objects or bear animal-like appearences to conceal themselves from humans, making them an excellent leaping-off point for a surprisingly large number of Pokemon. Today we talk about some of those Yokai, as well as touching upon the Pokemon created from them. Before I begin, let me give some words of warning. While I work hard to keep these articles G or at least PG, the nature of Yokai mythology is a bit gruesome. If you are easily disgusted or offended, this may not be the best choice of reading material. Extremely violent tendencies are very common in Yokai, and I feel I would be leaving interesting material oiut by not including this. Anyway, with that, it's time to suspend some disbelief and jump in!
