The Japanese website for Pokkén Tournament was updated with a hint at a new Pokémon fighter being announced for the game on Friday, January 15th. The post revealed that the new character's Japanese name will include the katakana syllable "ラ",  or "ra".  This could mean any of a long list of Pokémon to be added to the eclectic cast.

Nintendo eShop Downtime 3/13

As of Thursday, March 13th, the Nintendo eShop will be undergoing extended maintenance. The service will be down on both the Wii U and then 3DS consoles, starting at 1PM PST and lasting until 5PM PST. All Pokemon X and Y services will also be down during this time. 

As most Nintendo fans already know, this is not an uncommon occurrence, as maintenance is usually scheduled for Thursdays.
