Resident Storyteller | jay

Well, hello there. How are you? I was great, and you taking the time to read this makes me feel even better.

My name is Jay Petrequin. I’m a 17-year-old home schooled kid living in upstate New York, where the weather could be as warm as the Undella town beaches on one day, and cold as Snowpoint City the next. I have an interest in reading and writing fiction (largely inspired by my aunt, Leslie Connor, an author herself), and journalism, a somewhat more recent passion sparked over the past couple years by an interest in IGN and Kotaku, as well as my early writings for this very site. I also hold a strong interest in gaming as a whole, as well as movies, anime, music, and culture. I play bass in a band, making slow progress but writing some great quality stuff.

When I first started at this site, I was writing a series called Concept Corner. That was its own deal, and was fun for a time, but I simply got tired of writing it. Now, I write a continuing fan fiction for the site, called Shattered Gemstones. I also do other things across the Internet, including writing, art, and the occasional review. I like to keep busy.

If you’re interested in following my progress in Shattered Gemstones, as well as other projects and even insight on relevant events and stuff, check out my blog.

If you find it necessary to stalk me, feel free to do so on TwitterYouTubeDeviantArt, and Facebook.

About Author

Jay Petrequin

Jay Petrequin dreams of writing for TV, film, and radio, as well as writing novels. Unfortunately, the concept of him doing this scares everyone he knows, so instead he just writes fanfiction on the internet. In addition to being the creator and writer behind Shattered Gemstones and former series Concept Corner, Jay also writes game reviews and articles for HeyPoorPlayer.com. They're pretty fly, yo.
